Is thrift bad for our GDP?

Our factory is now under classification and construction for the Audit on 28th of this month, the two warehouses were put together, and the canteen is being moved to the previous warehouse, our bath room was decorated totally.....

Everybody is so busy these days, and i'm the second busiest person among our officers (just second to our director mary). I went to 5th floor this afternoon to look for my poles need to be repaired, i was shocked by the sight in front of me as soon as i entered the door, so many poles were stacked together, and a oven was in the center of the poles, two workers were busy puting the poles into oven and seperating the poles into many pcs, actually they were destoring the poles into original tubes, it can be called a Garbage/rubbish treatment plant.

I found so many good poles among them and actually so many poles were still in good condition, the two workers told me they got order from director that all the poles need to be seperated into many parts,including good and bad poles! It's such a waste, i know clearly the hard work of making new poles from original tubes and accessories! It may occupy some space to put the stock, but some many empty space in our factory! Do we need to sacrifice the good tubes for good looking warehouse?

Or as the Chinese saying " If you don't remove the old ones, new ones would refuse to come"

I'm sorry i digressed from the subject, anyway it's the same, just take a look at our Country, the government always encourages his people to consume to push the GDP, if this situation continues long time, we would loose everything including GDP. Thrift means accumulating wealth among the people, waste means taking the wealth away from people. Right?

有口无才

I saw an advertisement in a newspaper: Want you child outstanding? Send him to Dale Carnegie Course to train his eloquence! This advertisement reminded me a saying "owing speaking abiliby instead of speaking well ability", it can be translated into"有口无才"in chinese. I think it's the point, even you can speak very fluent, very confident, but if you can't catch the point, it's just nonsense blah.

The same as study and exam, if you want to achieve a good score in exam, it's no use to attend exam again and again, you must improve your basic knowage in normal days. It's important to know the skills in an exam, e.g. Time arrangement, Question sequence and so on, but if you don't have enough theory and enough practice, all the skills are useless.

It also works in both life and working.

A new Grand Slam championship in US Open

I'm now watching Sina live broadcast for US Open Tennis, this finals is between Federal and Del potro, the situation is very severe to Federal. The score is 2-4 and Federal fell behind Potro, and now the gap between the scores are widening, it's match point now! I think Fedel would lose this match, let me see....No draw! 6-2!Absolute advantage! new master is coming, a genius from Argentina.

I like Federal, he is the real king in this field, he lost this war, but i think after some rest and adjustment, he'll be back very soon. As a super star in tennis sport, he is so different with other players, not aggressive but a little shy, he is a gentleman both in the match and out of the match, he's named cow by his fans not because of his character, but his endeavor,harding working and stability quality.

He enjoied tennis in his kindom, he is the ruler in the Grand Slam(GS):Australia Open, French Open, Wimbledon Open and US Open, he won 15 grand slam championships, he's No.1 in this field, no one can surpass/replace him in near future, mybe in my life.

I miss my tennis so much now, miss my partner Xiewenfei so much now.

A good question but with nonsense

If you could travel back in time and meet yourself as a teenager, what three things would you tell yourself?

There're so many things I want to tell myself at teenager: to read as much extra-curricular books as I can, to participate all the activities what class or school hold, to go more places to expand my view, to find and develop my interest. But when i think of my situation at teenager, I decide to give up this travel, it would be a vain travel, even i told what I should do, It's impossible to do these things under that condition and situation.

I should be a junior school student at teenager, I spent two years in my village as a fist and second grade junior shool student, and spent another two years in our town as a third grade junior school student. In china, there're 3 years education for junior school, but I spent one more year,why? The fist two years of education in my village is very terrible! Our teachers were just graduated from high shool (a low-quality high school), what can we get from them? No offense, i just told the truth. I remember the first day i entered junior school, one of my relative who was a teacher in this school, told my father that I would not enter high school 3 years later, my academic status was hiden, the fact is 3 years later, all of our class failed the exam, and I didn't attend this exam, i know clearly i can't pass it too.

P.S. the entrance rate of high school is very low in our county, the rate is around 6-10%, that means there were just 3 students can pass the exam, others would lose chance to accept education forever, it's very cruel!Because of the tough competition, many students had to repead another one or two years to pass the exam, of course, the repead students is not fair to other students, they learned more time than other students, so they have more opportunity to pass the exam, so there was regulation that all the students were divided into Fresh graduates and returning students, the returning students need to achieve higher score to pass the exam. If somebody's academic status was hiden, he just need to achieve a lower score as a returning students.

Under that situation and background, i had no chance but try my best to pass the exam, i was fighting for my future. Do you think I have time or energy to do other things unrelated with my exam books? It's really a pity, but it's my life.

This question is attractive, but nonsensical/meaningless.

choi, my headache

Tomorrow is Monday again, i don't like Monday not because of much work to do, but I'm so scared to deal with many problem for Choi, who is a Korea customer and he is the toughest customer we ever accounted till now, he always has endless problem, one after another.

I followed his order this February from our director, but till now, there're still many problem need to deal with for this order. He purchased trekking poles from our company, and in his last order, he bought 3-section,4-section and small 3-section poles, before delivery, he even come to our factory to test our products and check our production, he suggested many advices to solve many small problem, such as punching holes on carton to make the air flow to make sure the mold don't come out the grip, graped the plastic wrap on the grip, fold the straps to not come out of the grips, etc. But after receiving first shippment, there're so many problems: Print not clear enough, strap too short, punch holes too obvious to sell. We ordered and make the strap again, ordered 14mm tubes for better holes, ordered new tips for better surface, produce new plastic cap for stronger tip holder.

Tomorrow, he has two problem need to deal with urgently, p.s. his problem is always urgent. My god! What a difficult day tomorrow.

Audit again, is it a coincidence?

There days our factory is so busy for an audit from Tribo Germany on this 28th, I don't think our hard effort would work, but now we really need something to do to conceal our fear to this financial crisis, it maybe the best way to show a temporary prosperity.

Just like what we did in 2007, we just started our production on Aluminum radiator and expect our boom in this field, at this time Alex's customer placed a big order and promised hundres of containers would be followed. We were all stimulated by his oral promise, espically our director Mr. zhu, he immediately improved our production capability and produced many stock for this customer, at the same time, as soon as this customer proposed to visit our factory, we officers started a revolution for our whole factory in many fields, including made work license for every staff, devided factory plant into many areas, ordered new working clothes and so on.But now two years passed, the stock is still stock, the customer never placed another order after the first order, the working card had been destered forever, the pictures on the Image board has turn yellow after two years time.

Now the same things are happening, I hope the same effort can bring different result.

My opportunity?

Yesterday afternoon, I came to a cross road in my career, now I found my direction.

I worked all day in workshop this week, so tired both physically and metally,i really planed to quit this job at the end of this year, not because of my work in workshop, I just think I should find a bigger stage for my future, but in Sanmin I'm just a do-all with nothing. As a saleman,  I should be passionate and active all the time, but my mood is always very low, i can't find any motion working for this company anylonger.

At 4:30PM yesterday, Kelly from MGB called me and tell me to attend the suppliers' train hold on Oct.21, I'm really very disappointed with MGB, as a member of Fortune 500 their efficiency is so low, an order of 5 container radiator last more than two years! I'm even not sure whether they got the final order from their customer, one the one hand, they urged us to do BSCI audit again and again, on the other hand,they delay the order again and again with some lame execuse. On this Monday, I called Stacy for the update of this order, she promise me we can get final reply around the middle of this month, who konws? Let's see.

My first react is to refuse this invitation, but she told me this train is arranged for new suppliers to know the operation of complicated MGB system, including price offer, order track and quality control.I begin to think maybe they're considering cooperating with us? If so, it would be my opportunity to get my "first barrel of gold", I've worked nearly three years, but have no saving now, i need money very much. But I need opportunity more than money, I believe money is just byproduct of ability, if you own great ability, it's no problem to get money. If I accept to attend this train,i may work there for more time, if I reject it, it means i'll quit this job right now,i'm really unwilling.

At last, I agree to attend this train, i consider if they would place order within this year, I would prefer to work for this company a little more time, if there's no hope to get order or can get just small order, I'll quit this job at the end of this year. Time is money, I have no time to waste any time!

Xinjiang, needle attack event

Yesterday night I knew from Susan that in Xi'an city, over 20,000 people were attacked by needle till now, it's just conservative number, the rough number is around 200,000! It's somewhat exaggerated/magniloquent, but this event is really China top issue.

Xinjiang is really a restive region, following the riot on July 5th (P.S. on July 5th, ethnic uighurs launched attacks across Han-dominated Urumqi,it's said that the tensions between the Turkic-speaking Muslim uighurs native in Xinjiang and the ethnic chinese that dominate Urumqi escalated into riot), needle attack happened again in this region and is spreading to other regions in China. Rumours raged that the attack was upon ethnic Han chinese by AIDS patients with their syringes. Hundreds of ethnic Han chinese took to the street to protest over the attacks.

The topic of this year is Harmony, but so many unrest exists in this country, Tibet and Xinjiang are two headache to Chinese government, there're too many natives and foreigners want to seperate these two regions from China, and what's worse, the most people in these two regions both have religious belief, Buddhism is Tibetan's religion and Islam is Uighurs's (moslems) religion. I know from one foreigher's remark that the people with extreme belief is very dangeous, every goverment should pay more attention to them, most disaster happened in history were caused by these belivers,  they're easy to be used and incited/abeted by a few people with ulterior motives. But China really provided much more help to them, the people in these two places own more advantages than Han chinese in many fields, including College entrance exam and Child Birth.

social elites

In spare time, I like to browse somebody's blog, but it's selective, I don't like these blogs full of daily trifle or personal emothions. There're two places where i always go, one is Wangjianshuo's blog, the other is Zhengziying's blog, they both work in Microsoft in Shanghai, I think they are real elites in our society not because of their good job, but also their view to the world and their personal ability.

Wangjianshuo's blog is written by English, aiming to show a real China to foreigners, including Chinese's goverment policy, and social affairs, he can reveal the truth to our outsiders, I can both improve my english and know more about my country. I admire his courage and his options to many things, just like him, we both love this country, but we don't like it.

Regarding Zhengziying, he's a excellent engineer in Microsoft, but he owns very different views to our daily things, I got many unique understanding from a different angle.

you're picky because you care too much

I called my sister the night before last, she told me on the phone that she's seeing movie and i knew she's dating with someone. Yesterday morning, we chated on QQ and she told me she's confused now, she don't know whether she love or like this guy. Now she found him uglier and shorter, she felt a little uncomfortable with him, but in the terms of character, he's a nice guy, who graduated from medical colleague, now worked in a pharmaceutical company as manager assistand, he owns good family background, he had a short marriage ended with his wife's unfaith. What confused my sister is her different impression between their fist met and later touch, he left my sister a nice impression at the first time:looks not bad, not too short, good manner. But now he's still the same guy, my sister just found he is so ugly and so short, although still good manner. She don't know why, she don't want to give up easily, but just can't accept his appearance and height.

I took an example to explain it: When we were asked how about the clothes dressed on somebody, we always think it's good, but if given the same clothes to you, you can find many problems, such as style,colour,size and so on, why? People always don't care of otherone's thing, or pay much less attention to otherone's problem. That means you're picky about somebody  because you care of him. My sister somewhat agree to my option.
